Leonardo was born in Venezuela in November 1985 and studied at the Experimental University of the Arts, where he graduated in the degree of Audiovisual Arts in Cinematography. He is a photojournalist and filmmaker freelance in Caracas collaborating with News Agencies such as The Associated Press, Reuters and Getty Images or for the United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF.

He has managed to register under his lens a great variety of events, some of which include the social and political turmoil of 2016 and 2017, while developing stories of cultural, religious manifestations, scientific campaigns and the social deterioration of the Venezuelan crisis.

In 2014, he made an exclusive documentary series for Argentina and Venezuela recording the work of Venezuelan Scientists in different parts of the country for 1 year. The Series obtained the recognition throughout Latin America in the network of public television stations in the region.

My works have been published for THE ASSOCIATED PRESS, THOMSON REUTERS, BBC, RT, AJ, Deutscher W etterdienst, Xinhua News Agency, UNICEF, ConCiencia Tv (Venezuela), TECtv (Argentina), Non-profit governmental organizations of Venezuela, some companies in the areas: sports, health, tourism, corporate and various INDEPENDENT projects.
